What should a witch do with the solar eclipse.

I have been asked so many questions about the eclipse, this is new territory for most of us that are in the path of the eclipse. Unless you're an eclipse chaser or you've moved, this is probably your first and last eclipse. So exciting,

1. Should I put crytals out to charge? If you're a sun witch, yes. I am a moon witch. I won't be using the eclipse for charging any objects besides my body and soul and spirit.

2. Will my dogs go blind?

3. What if it's cloudy? It's OK if its cloudy. While you may not get the big Corona circle view, you are still going to be in the magical position of being lined up in a beautiful healing line. A healing and awakening enery will run through earth, through you, through the moon, through the sun and then right back down. A wonderful chain of energy will flow back and forth in this rare line. Soak it up! You have about 3 minutes of a straight path of heavenly and cathartic energy.

6. I'm concerned about damaging my eyes. Can I enjoy the eclipse without risking my eyes? Yes! The energy from this eclipse won't be blocked by a wall, or eclipse glasses. Decide how you want to enjoy it and either keep your eclipse glasses on while you're outside, or enjoy this moment in the shade of a tree, or facing away, or from inside a building. It's all OK and magic will run true. The temperature will drop and it will be super dark. You will feel the energy and it will course through your body just the same as if you look at the sun. The visual isn't necessary at all.

So decide how you want to interact. Do you want to standing be on fresh spring grass, or in a shallow creek? Do you want to face towards or away from the sun? Imagine standing barefoot on a rock and feeling the pull both ways as the energy runs through your cells and your soul. Maybe stand near a tree for deep earth contact with the energy chain. Or stay in your room by an alter or stay by your bed which is your cozy nest, warm and safe while we pivot through this time.

The eclipse should be free. You don't need stuff. You can pull in this magic the same way your crystals charge when you leave them in a full moon. Isn't it amazing that the moon and the sun are just the right distance away from our earth that they will appear the same size to be able to eclipse each other?

Spiritually, solar eclipses create an opportunity for course corrections in our lives. This is a time of new beginnings and lining our bodies and physical world with our spiritual needs. Write down your top spiritual need. What physical changes need to take place in your world to help make you spiritual needs get met?
