A gift of crystals

Today is Christmas Eve and my niece and nephew visited. My neice gave me the gift of these crystals and stones that she tumbled herself.

This is the most thoughtful gift and these crystals are now priceless to me. They were tumbled and polished by hand and with great care.

I think it's so beautiful that young witches can be free to be what they want to be and that being a witch is currently cool. I think that hand made gifts are the best. She gave me a plant cutting in a hand painted pot, too!

Sometimes the magic just keeps flowing in. She is learning to believe in her own magic and the magic of the earth. She proudly told me that she is experimenting with herbs and stones and green garden plants.

I gave her fairy oracle cards and she was delighted and tore right into them. Again, I am grateful to be in a time where you can openly discuss magic and being a witch. In this time you don't have to get a broom and a black hat and start your book of shadows to be a real witch. You can keep it as light or as deep as you need. In this day you can be a witch and still go to veterinary school and play soccer and be a kid. Balancing being a witch in real life is fun and beautiful.

I hope your night before Christmas is filled with magic and that tomorrow brings all the beauty of family and friends and Christmas to you.

This is a full moon Christmas too, so hang your crystals in your windows so they can absorb this super powerful magic into them. Remember, no one thing is magic in its own. You need to create layers.
